Visa’s New Innovation Lab Opens in Tel Aviv

Following Visa announcement on launching a new innovation studio in Tel Aviv, issued on 13th of February , Visa Innovation Exchange Conference was held yesterday.

As always it’s a pleasure to be invited to Visa events. Yesterday’s event was fully dedicated to innovation, in Retail, Transportation and, the subject inspiring us all, - Open Banking.

Several panels of speakers, influencers in their fields discussed the future of seamless payments along with the presentations from startups that participate in this initiative. The speakers' predictions for the new banking focus on smarter and better use of the customer’s financial data, a move from cylo to integrated customer journey, “blurring” the limits between Credit, Debit and Prepaid cards and extensive collaboration between banks and Fin-tech.
